Did you know that heart failure often progresses without symptoms? Many people have no idea that pre-existing conditions and lifestyle have a direct impact on heart health. Those affected often only go to the doctor once heart failure has already been diagnosed. This includes around 2.5 million people in Germany. Since the disease is initially inconspicuous, going to a cardiac checkup is not yet routine. However, the earlier heart failure is detected, the better it can be treated.
